What have we been up to??

Here is a quick picture recap of the things that we have been doing lately!

Lauren graduated! :o)

Madi began eating cereal from a bowl and fruits. She LOVES peaches. This is the first time we tried feeding her from a spoon. Haylee was SO excited to help.

Madi's 4 Month Stats

Weight- 13 pounds (37th%)

Length- 23 1/4 inches (17th%)

Friday we went out to eat Mexican food for Brandon's bday. I forgot my camera that evening! Oops!

On Saturday we took Haylee to Peckham Park to fish.

She looks super cute and it looks like a wonderful afternoon, but we only lasted about 20 minutes. Right after we found a spot and got situated, Haylee decided she needed to go potty...it was on the opposite side of the lake. (We are learning ourselves...it is a lot different having to take a little one to a restroom) Then Madi was upset and Haylee was crying so we decided we would try it again on another day. :o)

This is what Madi thought about fishing for about 10 minutes.

Sunday evening we went to Carrabba's to celebrate Grandpa Glowacz' bday (my dad).

Monday we set up the blow up pool in the backyard for Haylee to play in. She LOVED it! She is going to be a water baby this summer!

3 Months Old

I just sat down and realized I didn't take a picture of Madi today on her 3 month birthday! But, I do have this video clip I did. Sorry about the silly mommy voice, I was trying to catch a laugh but all I got was some cooing! I love the sound of babies cooing, don't you? Enjoy!

One Month Old Photo Shoot

Today Madison is 1 month old...ALREADY! It has really gone bye so fast! At one month old Madi weighs 8 pounds. She is focusing more on objects, staying awake a little longer during the day, sleeping 6 hours at night before wanting to eat, holding her head up (she is REALLY strong) for longer periods of time, and grabbing on hair...mine, Haylee's, and her own (she gets so mad when she is pulling her hair). She is so much fun and it is so special to watch Haylee and Madi interact. It is amazing the love you see in their eyes.

We are looking forward to all of the new things she will be doing in month 2! Here are a few pictures I took this morning on her 1 month birthday! I LOVE the big flower headband. Plus, it tames her WILD hair. :o) Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Haylee Reese!

On Saturday Haylee turned 2! We can not believe how fast time has gone bye and how much our little girl has grown. She is such a joy to have in our lives and we couldn't feel more blessed to be Haylee's parents. She has grown into a sweet, polite, and very happy child. She is constantly laughing and loves to play. Haylee is also super smart. She talks in 3 word sentences, counts to 10 or more when walking up the stairs, sings her own version of the ABC's, knows colors, and has unbelieveable coordination.

Here are some pictures from her Mickey and Minnie bday party. Everyone had a great time, especially Haylee. She loved all of the decorations with her favorite characters on them. Once again many people showed up to celebrate with our little girl. We had hot dogs to go along with the Clubhouse theme and cake.

Happy Birthday to Me!

For my birthday I asked for money or gift cards so that I could buy this...

Tonight we went to Best Buy to buy it. Travis also bought me a memory card and the new photoshop! I am super excited to play with the camera this weekend.

I have a lot to learn about it.

We were joking around the other day about the number of cameras Travis has bought me. He has bought me a new one every year since we have been married. (4 years) Some people like jewelry, some like purses, and some like shoes. I like cameras! HA HA

I told him this one will last for a while. I now have a nice point and shoot and DSLR.

This afternoon I also had my weekly dr. appointment. Everything is still looking good. I am measuring right on schedule. I have made it past the point that I went into pre term labor with Haylee. We are taking everything day by day! The only problem I am having is some back pain. It's not like sciatica, its just lower back pain. During school and at home I am trying to stay off my feet as much as possible. However, having an almost 2 year old running around doesn't allow me to "relax" for extended periods of time. :o)

My next appointment is on Tuesday due to Thanksgiving.

Also, I am really excited about TWILIGHT! I have tickets for Saturday. I can not wait! I went to this website www.cafepress.com looking for T-Shirts. I was really tempted to get one but didn't want to pay the express shipping. Check it out if you are a "twilighter". They are really funny. That was my other problem, I couldn't figure out which one to get. :o)

When we returned home, this is what we saw!

We have been so close to finishing Madi's room for the past two weeks! We needed to move out furniture, move in furniture from Haylee's room, touch up some green and finish painting the chair rail.

Nathan and Melissa decided to surprise me for my bday by finishing it! We are so pleased with the final product!

Haylee doesn't have any more baby furniture! It is now a Big Girl Room!
We have some work to do in here to fill in the emptiness!
