Really Fast Recap!

I can not believe that I have gotten so far behind on blogging. This month flew bye! I can not believe that we are already getting into October. So, here is a quick recap of what has been going on...
The twins were baptized! Congrats girls!

Football season started! We always "snack" on football days. It is so cute b/c Haylee will say,

"Is it cootball nack day?"

Beginning next week we will have healthier "nacks" since I am planning on starting my diet...AGAIN!

Madi turned 8 months old!! Our precious baby girl is growing so fast. I can not believe that she will be 1 in 4 months! OMG!

Madi is so precious! She is definitely the baby in the family. Madi is a fast crawler. She pulls up on everything and has begun walking around furniture. Madi is still toothless. I am beginning to wonder if there is anything in her mouth! She is ready to eat real food and so are we. Madi likes to talk about her dada. She just laughs when I try to get her to say mama. Madi's favorite time of the day is bath time. She loves sitting in her bath seat. She likes to chew on the toys and kick her feet in the water. Madi likes her play table, her new jumperoo, and anything that has music.

Madi is wearing 6/9 month clothes and size 3 diapers. She is 18 pounds and have the cutest little leg rolls!

We love you so much!

It turned Fall. I think we had 4-5 days of cool Fall weather last week! It was AMAZING! Here are 3 of my favorite things.

Fall decor, Fall candles, and a Pumpkin Spice latte!

Haylee has a new favorite game...Hide and Seek! We caught a picture of her hiding. It is so cute!

Where is Haylee??

and of course...Our furry children

Sickies and Opening Day

Early this past week I could tell that the girls were begining to come down with something. By Friday, they were both starting to look and feel really bad. After a doctor appointment it was confirmed that both girls had a sinus infection, Haylee had a throat infection, Madi had an ear infection, and they were coughing so much at night that no one could sleep. They were both put on an antibiotic and we were sent on our way for the weekend. Friday night Madi slept with me due to her coughing and Saturday night Haylee slept with me because she wanted her mommy. Poor daddy was kicked to the couch (which was probably more comfortable than sleeping with out kids...they are all over the place).
When the kids went to the doctor both were weighed. Madi is now 17 pounds and Haylee has finally gotten past the 25 pound weight that she has been at since her 18 month check up. She is now 27 pounds.
Saturday night Travis and I were able to get out and go to an Astros game. Lauren and her boyfriend, Cody, invited us a while back. We had such a great time.
Of course Sunday was spent watching football with some friends. Here are some pictures of the girls on opening day!
Even after being on an antibiotic for 3 days, Haylee began running a fever this morning. It has been on and off so we will see what is going on tomorrow after I talk with the doctor again. Haylee has been complaining of a headache and has been lounging around on the couch all afternoon. After unloading the dishes I walked into the living room and this is what I saw.
Kids are so cute! She thought the band-aid would help her hurting head!

First Day of School

This week Haylee began a 2 day a week preschool at Tiny Treasures. She has been so excited to begin school. She picked out a backpack, lunchbox, and nap mat. For the past 3 weeks she has asked when her school would open. She would say, "Mommy's school is open and mine is closed." Well, Tuesday was her first day. When she woke up, she was a bag of mixed emotions (and not feeling 100%...we had to begin nebulizers the night before). One minute she wanted to go, and the next, she wanted to stay home. She looked pretty cute though! Here are a few pictures.

Haylee "testing" out her napmat the night before school.

Look at our BIG girl!

Haylee walked right into her classroom, sat down at the table, and said she wanted to eat. She was excited about using her lunch box.

Then it was time to leave...Haylee began to get nervous. I think it was the other 10 children crying that made her upset.

Haylee's comments about school...
  • I have 5 friends.
  • My friends wear diapers and pull ups.
  • My friends eat lunch with me and take a nap.
  • I played outside.
  • We sang Itsy, Bitsy Spider and ABC's.
  • I don't know my friends name.
  • I went potty on the duck potty.

All in all, I think she had a wonderful day! She is growing up way too fast! We will see how tomorrow goes. :o)

Thank you to Melissa for letting me borrow your camera (oops...I forgot mine at home) and my friend Jessica for making Haylee's cute nap mat.

A Day in the Country...

This past weekend we were able to go visit Grandpa and Grandma Glowacz at their new house. Uncle Dave and Aunt Kristen were there with the twins and we also saw Great Grandma Jackson. Here are a few pictures from our visit.
