Baby Madi's Birthday Post (Picture Overload)

Dear Madi,

1 years old already! It seems like I just blinked my eyes and you turned into a walking, talking toddler. When did this happen??

This year we have learned to be a family of 4. We were so excited when we found out we were pregnant with you. Even more excited when we found out you were a girl. But, the day you were born was the most special day. I can remember when daddy brought Haylee into the room to meet you for the first time, we could see the love between you two instantly. That moment was the sweetest moment our lives and melts my heart every time I think about it.

You have blessed our lives more than you will ever know. You have so many people you love you! You are a very special daughter, sister, grand daughter, great grand daughter, cousin, and friend. You are our BABY MADI! (I knew the nickname would stick!)

Birthday girl shoes! When I first decided on a cupcake theme, I saw a pair of shoes like this online for $70. I wasn't going to pay that! With some help, this my version. I think they are pretty cute!

It is so hard to believe that you have blessed our lives for the past three years. Three years ago we didn't know love the way we do now. You have brought so much happiness and love into our lives and have taught us who we are as a family. Everyday is a new adventure. 99.9% of the time we are laughing and smiling with each other. We have so much fun together. Your intelligence and beauty never cease to amaze us. We are blown away at the things you say and the things you know without us teaching them to you. You are such a smartie! We love you more than you will ever know. The last 3 years have been the best years of our lives.

11 Months!

That is right! Madison is 11 months old!

What are you up to??

• You eat everything
• You can stand up from a sitting position without help and walk around furniture fast
• You are a CLIMBER. You can climb up the stairs, on top of tables, out of walkers and high chairs...you can not be contained!
• You took your first steps on your 11 month bday. Here is a video of her first few steps. The most you have taken since then is 8 steps in a row.

• You say mama, dada, bottle, more, night-night, that, dog.
• You have 5 teeth.
• You wear size 3/4 diapers and size 9-12 month clothes.
• You are in a big mama stage- you don't like being handed off.
• If I say AWWW, you put your head on me and say it back.

We love you more and more everyday Madi! You keep us on our toes and make us smile so much. We are so blessed to have you and your sister in our lives.
