9 Months... (only a week late!)
Last week Madi turned 9 months old! OMG! Where has the time gone?? 3 more months and we will be celebrating her first birthday (that I already have planned, by the way)!
Our precious Madi... What are you up to these days??
- crawls fast, but prefers to be standing
- you can walk around furniture
- you let go of what you are holding onto for a quick second (getting brave)
- you don't want to be held...you want DOWN!
- you love to eat, anything
- you love your sister, A LOT
- you have a bad habit of putting things in your mouth and hiding it in your chipmunk cheeks
- you still like to talk about your "dadada"
- you have this really strange "growl" (I don't know how to explain it...I will have to catch it on video.)
- you love bathtime
- you are very ticklish
- you smile whenever someone looks at you
- you love toys that light up and make noise (toy table)
- you love the jumperoo
- puffs are your favorite thing...and the dogs like them as well
- you are an early riser...no matter what time you go to bed!
- you still take 2 naps during the day
- you wear 6-9 month clothes
- you have 1 tooth...FINALLY!

5 years ago...10-24-04
Matt,
It is so hard to believe that it has been 5 years since we last saw you. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I often find myself thinking about you in the car. I can still hear your voice and laugh. I can still see your facial expressions and body mannerisms. I can still feel your presence everyday. I am so thankful for all of the great memories I have. They all make me smile. I miss you so much, more than words can express!
Love,
J-fer

Baby Madi
They say that a nickname should "fit" the person and reflect who they are. Little did we know that the nickname Haylee chose for her sister, would actually be a PERFECT fit, now anyway! Madison is truly a baby. Maybe it is the fact that I "baby" her. Anyway, I love that she is so sensitive and "needy". Here is what we get from our baby girl when we tell her no.
It starts with the "pouty" lip.
Then the nose "scrunch".
Then the "wail".
As bad as it may sound...I think it is the probably one of the cutest things! You just can't help scooping her up and hugging/kissing all over her.
We all love our BABY Madi!
