OOPS!

That is about all I can say!
Haylee was super quiet while I was busy picking up after dinner. Once I realized I didn't hear her I looked up and found this...

Her punishment...

Just kidding! She wanted to "Hep" (help) scrub the floor after watching mama.
Atleast I know that she knows all of her colors. :o) She was naming and pointing to them while I was scrubbing.
How can you be upset with this face??

Necklaces, Football, and Ready for Fall

I have been slacking a little bit in my blogging due to the new school year and the Twilight Series that I started about 3 weeks ago thanks to my friend Stephanie. I am about to begin book 4. I love the books and am looking forward to the movie!

Here are a few pictures that I have taken in the past couple of weeks.
Haylee loves her bead necklaces.
Here she is trying to put on her necklaces by herself.

I did it!

Another pedicure

Haylee is so well behaved. The women in the salon just loved her!

Are you ready for some footbal??

After watching the Cowboys game we went in the backyard and let Haylee play in the sprinkler with the dogs. She was having so much fun.

I don't know about everyone else but I am ready for fall. I think it may have been the nice cool weather early Saturday morning. Of course later in the day it was the usual 90 degree weather. I decided that I needed to make a new fall wreath and a centerpiece.

Here is the centerpiece.

I am extremely ready for cooler weather and all of the fun fall activities. We already have Haylee's Halloween costume!

Update on Haylee: She is beginning to talk more and more everyday. She have a very good memory. Haylee is now putting two words together to make "mini sentences" ("mama car", "macy eat", "here dada") and our conversations are beginning to make sense and have a point. Haylee still loves here puppies and she also loves babies. She gets upset when the babies are crying. She doesn't like it. Haylee is cutting her top 2 incisors and it has made for a difficult couple of weeks. She constantly has her hands in her mouth. I put Hay on the scale the other day and she is still weighing 21.5 pounds but is definetly getting taller. (I will have to measure her this week) She loves sleeping in her big girl bed. I think that she is getting close to potty training. She tells me right after she goes in her diaper. She will stop and say "pot pot" and run into the bathroom. We are close! I think if I can get her to go once she will understand what she is supposed to do. It is super cute though when she sits on the potty for 1 second and then stands up and says done.

Baby news...we have narrowed down our name selection for our new baby girl. We should have a name this week.

It's a ....

Last Thrusday, Travis ran into our next door neighbors at the store and sometime during the conversation he mentioned that we were finding out the sex of the baby on Tuesday. Joy, the wife, told him that we don't need to pay the extra money for that ultrasound because they had one next door. We knew that they both did ultrasounds for a living but didn't know that the husband had a portable machine since he travels for his position. He specializes in heart ultrasounds and she specializes in baby ultrasounds. She is also in school to become an OB. They both moved from New York, with their 6 kids, last year.

So, Friday night he knocked on the door and said that we could come on over to do the ultrasound. Let me start of by saying it was the BEST ultrasound I have ever had. She wasn't on a time schedule due to other appointments so she was able to really take her time. The baby looks very healthy and very active! We were able to see the chambers in the heart, the hemispheres of the brain, the spine, all 10 fingers and toes...EVERYTHING. It was flipping all around, sucking its thumb, crossing its feet, so cute. She also said that the baby has already developed it kidney's and other organs so she thinks I am atleast 17 weeks along. Based on the first ultrasound I had I am about 15 weeks 5 days and based on my last period I should be 18 weeks. So, somewhere between that January 31 (our first due date) and February 11 (our current due date) we should be expecting a new baby GIRL!

We are all excited and I can't wait to watch the two girls grow up together! Haylee will be a wonderful big sister! We are still discussing names and other details so we will update when we have made some decisions!

Here is a picture of my 16/17 week bump.

Kenny Concert

Last Saturday our good friend Brandon took me to see my favorite country singer, Kenny Chesney with the added bonus of Keith Urban. Two really great singers, not to mention cuties.

Kenny and Ketih sang a fw songs together at the very end of the concert.

Baby News...

I have two bits of news. Travis and I decided to go ahead with the gender scan at our next appointment! He has been working hard and putting in a lot of overtime hours so why notpay a little extra to find out a little early what we are having if we can. I can not wait! I am the person who buys Christmas presents early but can not wait to give them to Travis. So, most of the time he gets them early. I am really impatient! We are both very excited to find out what this baby is. Hopefully we will be able to tell and it will cooperate during the ultrasound. So the countdown is:
13 more days (August 26)

Other news that I don't think I told my blog family is about my sister, Kristen's, pregnancy. Remember I said that we are both having a baby around the same time. We are 2 weeks apart and they just found that they are not only expecting baby #1 but also baby #2! They are having twins!! How exciting!

Congratulations you two! We are really excited for the twinkies!

Random Pictures

Haylee and Briley were reading together on the couch and it was too cute not to take a picture of... They were enjoying each others choice in books.

Haylee must have really liked it!

Roxy got a much needed hair cut! You can't really get the whole effect, but it is really hard to take a picture of a dog.

One morning Haylee pulled out her piano (it is usually against the wall) and her bumbo (she loves to play with it) and played her music for 15 minutes. I thought it was cute!

We are officially out of the crib and in a Big Girl Bed!We started out one day with letting her take a nap and sleep on her crib mattress.

She did so well! I didn't hear her get up and get into anything. When she wakes up in the morning she stays on the bed and yells for me to come get her!

We let her sleep on the crib mattress again the following night and then we decided put her in the daybed that is in her room. We bought a rail to put on the side of the bed to make sure she doesn't fall out. Look how small she looks in this Big Girl Bed! Up close...she poses in her sleep! :o)

We are so proud of her! I really thought it would take a couple of weeks. I can't believe how big she is getting!

Our next task...the BINKIE!

Well I am down to my last 3 days before returning to work! I intend to spend every minute enjoying my baby (big) girl.
