Wordless Wednesday

Baby It's Cold Outside!

(We even had snow flurries!)

Hairbows...

Of course during Christmas time you have the wrapping paper out with the ribbon and bows you need for making your packages beautiful and festive.

Haylee seems to think that the bows are hairbows. She insists on choosing one in the morning to wear. She even picks one out for mommy and her puppies. Unfortunately the dogs are pretty quick at taking the bow off before I can snap the picture.
At least Haylee gets a BIG laugh out of it.

Moose T-Shirts

I mentioned that on Thanksgiving the girls made handprint moose t-shirts. Here is what they look like. Melissa finished them up and we plan on taking the girls for a Santa picture together in them.

Double Feature Friday!

On Friday Haylee went to spend the night with her Grandpa and Grandma Glowacz. She had so much fun. They took her to her favorite place, Chuckie Cheese! She has been asking to go there so I am glad she was able to go with them. Haylee loves the slide in the tot area. Since she was gone Travis and I decided to go to the movies. The doctor told me that I was able to go to the movies if I was dropped off in the front. We went to see Four Christmases with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon.

Review: Travis thought it was HILARIOUS! Of course he loves all Vince Vaughn movies. I thought it was a cute and funny holiday movie. It was a good choice to watch.

The movie was really short. It only ran about 1 hour and 20 minutes and I wasn't ready to go back home so I convinced him to see Twilight so he would know what I have been reading! This was my second time to see it. I really wanted to see it again. I heard that it was better the 2nd time around.

Review: Travis surprising liked it. I wasn't sure if he would understand it because the book gave so much more information. I caught myself wanting to explain parts but held back until after the movie. I did love it more the second time. The first time it was hard to see the characters outside of my own imagination.

Anyway, we had a great date night. I don't know if I have ever seen 2 movies in one night.

Holiday Traditions

Every year, even prior to kids, we decorate the Christmas tree the weekend following Thanksgiving. We put on Christmas music real loud, make hot cider, then watch The Polar Express. This year was no different. Except how much more fun it was! Haylee had a blast decorating the family tree. She wanted to do it all herself. Every time that Haylee would hang an ornament she would clap for herself. It was so cute. She enjoyed the music and would dance and sing along. We had a great evening. Here are some pictures of our tradition.

Getting a little help from her daddy.

Yum! Trying some cider.

Thanksgiving Week

My Thanksgiving holidays began afterschool on Tuesday. First, before heading over to pick up Haylee, I had a doctors appointment. Things have been going fine except I was beginning to feel some pressure and felt that Madison had dropped some already since I can now see my feet where as a couple of weeks ago I couldn't. So, the dr. decided to go ahead and do an examine. Sure enough I have already began dialating. I am now on "modified" bedrest and no more work! I was really hoping to make it these last three weeks before the Christmas holidays. I have been pretty upset about not being able to work and having to be on bedrest again, but with Thanksgiving I have realized I have SO much to be thankful for. I now have this time to spend at home with Haylee before Madison arrives. I have so many helpful and caring family members and friends. I also have a wonderful, hardworking, husband and best friend. We had a low key Thanksgiving this year. Around 2:00 we went over to Travis' mom and dad's house for Thanksgiving dinner and the Aggie/UT game. Here are some pictures that Melissa took.

After dinner the girls made a Christmas moose t-shirt using their foot and hands. So cute!
